When we start the game, in the mid-fifteenth century, England is in a difficult position, tormented by civil wars and religious conflicts. Our task is to transform it into an empire with the scale of influence unknown to the world, creating a commercial, military and industrial power that would eclipse all other powers of the time.
The extension introduces new decision trees to the mission system, specially designed for England, Scotland and Ireland. Added to this are previously unavailable sea doctrines, allowing us, among others Establish general strategies for individual fleets, providing them with trade bonuses, battles' effectiveness or keeping ships in good condition.
Enlargement also extends economic elements focusing on the beginnings of the industrial revolution, so that in the late stages of the game, the most developed provinces can begin to extract and use coal, which significantly increases the productivity and growth rate of the country's wealth. The addition also introduces a mechanism for rewarding innovation, providing us with various bonuses when our country is the first to obtain a technology, for example by reducing energy costs.
In addition, Windows Universalis IV published on the Windows PC platform: Rule Britannia extends the list of faiths, adding to it Anglicanism, whose appearance in England opens before us the previously unavailable facilities and religious decisions. The list of changes closes the introduction of the option of sharing knowledge and system solutions with allied nations.
